Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 5, 2026
2250 exists to help you understand your skin. That only works if you trust us with information about it. This policy explains, in plain language, what we collect, why we collect it, who processes it on our behalf, and the rights you have over it. It applies to 2250.care and to the skin scan experience available online and at Farmacias San Pablo. For users in Mexico, this document is our aviso de privacidad.
Who we are
2250.care is operated by Singular Skincare Inc., a company organized under the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, with its registered address at 2093 Philadelphia Pike #9784, Claymont, Delaware 19703, United States. For the purposes of this policy, Singular Skincare Inc. is the data controller and, under Mexican law, the responsable of the personal data described here. Our privacy team, reachable at hello@2250.care, is the designated department for personal data matters.
We make personalized skincare. Our system analyzes a photo of your skin, combines it with your quiz answers and local environmental conditions, and recommends a routine built for you. Our products are available online and at Farmacias San Pablo in Mexico.
If anything in this policy is unclear, write to us at hello@2250.care.
Information we collect
We practice data minimization. We collect only the personal data we need for the purposes described in this policy, and each type of data below has a specific job in the service.
Contact data. Your name and email address, which you provide when you take the skin scan, create an order, or sign up for updates.
Your face photo. If you use the skin scan, you upload a selfie. This photo is used only for the cosmetic analysis of your skin, the delivery of your results, and the support and history functions described in this policy. We treat it as sensitive data, and we ask for your express consent before the scan. It is collected only with that consent, used only for the purposes described here, never sold, and never used to identify you against any database or other people. If you scan more than once within a short period, we may compare your new photo with your recent scan solely to confirm both scans belong to you, as described in the section on AI skin analysis below.
Skin quiz answers. Your responses about skin type, concerns, and routine context. These shape which recommendation you receive.
Order and payment data. When you buy from us, your order, shipping, and payment information is collected and processed through Shopify, which powers our store and checkout. We do not store your full card details on our own systems.
Technical data. Your IP address and approximate location, which we use to factor local weather, UV, and pollution conditions into your recommendation. We also collect standard device and usage analytics, such as browser type and the pages you visit.
How we use your information
We use your data for two kinds of purposes. Primary purposes are necessary to provide the service you request. Secondary purposes are not, and you can refuse them without losing access to the service.
Primary: to run your skin analysis and build your recommendation. Your photo, quiz answers, and local environmental data are the inputs to the routine we recommend.
Primary: to deliver your results. We send your analysis and recommendation to you by email and display them on the results page. We keep them available so you can return to them and so our support team can help you.
Primary: to fulfill orders, provide customer support, and send you transactional messages about your scan and purchases.
Secondary: to send marketing communications if you have opted in. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email or by writing to hello@2250.care.
Secondary: to understand how the service is used, fix problems, and improve the experience through the analytics described in this policy. You can refuse the secondary purposes at any time by writing to hello@2250.care, and doing so will not affect your analysis, your results, or your orders.
We never sell your face photo, and we do not use it to train advertising systems, to identify you against any database or other people, or for any purpose beyond the analysis, the repeat-scan check described below, the delivery of your results, and the support and history functions described in this policy.
The AI skin analysis, explained
When you upload a selfie, it is analyzed by specialized skin-analysis technology operated on our behalf by our service providers, strictly under our instructions and data processing agreements. The analysis derives cosmetic skin metrics such as hydration, texture, and redness. Those metrics are what drive your recommendation. Neither we nor our service providers use your identifiable photo to train models; any technology improvement may occur only with fully anonymized data that can no longer be linked to you.
We do not use facial recognition to identify you. Your face is never matched against databases of other people, never shared for recognition purposes, and never used to find, track, or profile you anywhere. The one comparison we may perform is narrow and protective: if you scan again within a short period, we may compare your new photo with your recent scan to confirm that both belong to you, so your results stay consistent between scans and another person's results are never shown to you or sent to your email. The comparison, when it runs, happens on our systems; the data it uses is collected with your express consent before the scan, is used for nothing else, and is deleted within 48 hours.
This is not a medical service. The scan produces a cosmetic assessment and a skincare recommendation. It is not a medical device, does not diagnose any condition, and is not a substitute for advice from a dermatologist or physician.
The analysis is an informational estimate. Skin metrics can vary with lighting, camera quality, and the condition of your skin on the day of the scan. We do not warrant that any analysis or recommendation is accurate or complete, and cosmetic results vary from person to person. Nothing in this paragraph limits any right you have under applicable consumer protection law or excludes any liability that cannot be excluded under that law. If something looks off, retake the scan or write to us.
To create the visual summary in your results email, composited result images are generated through Cloudinary, an image processing provider acting on our behalf.
Your photo and your analysis results are stored on our systems and those of the service providers that run the analysis on our behalf, so we can show you your results, support you if something goes wrong, and maintain your recommendation history. They are not deleted automatically today. We keep them only as long as the purposes in this policy require, review stored data periodically, and delete what is no longer needed. You can request deletion at any time by emailing hello@2250.care, as described under Your rights.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal data for money, and we never sell your face photo or your skin analysis results under any definition of sale. Some U.S. state laws define 'sale' or 'sharing' broadly enough to cover the advertising pixels described below; where that is the case, you can opt out as described under Your rights. We share personal data with a defined set of service providers, each for a specific job, under agreements that limit what they can do with it. These disclosures to our service providers are necessary to provide the service you request.
Shopify runs our online store, checkout, and payment processing, and Shopify Oxygen hosts our website. The skin analysis runs on specialized technology operated by our service providers under our instructions, as described above. Cloudinary generates the composited images used in your results email.
Klaviyo sends our marketing emails to subscribers. Resend sends transactional emails such as your scan results. Yotpo powers product reviews. Pusher provides the realtime status updates you see while your scan is processing.
Google Analytics helps us understand site usage. Meta and TikTok pixels receive funnel events, such as page views and checkout steps, together with the device and browser identifiers those tools collect by design, so we can measure our advertising. Your skin metrics and your raw quiz answers are never sent to advertising platforms.
Farmacias San Pablo. When you redeem a personalized recommendation in store, we transfer the order and fulfillment data needed to complete your purchase. San Pablo receives this data as an independent data controller and uses it under its own privacy notice. This transfer is necessary to fulfill the purchase you request.
We may also disclose information if required by law or a valid request from a public authority. Personal data may be transferred as part of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale; if that happens, we will notify you, and your data will remain subject to this policy or to terms at least as protective.
Cookies and analytics
We use a small set of cookies. A language preference cookie (content_lang) remembers whether you browse in English or Spanish. Shopify sets session and cart cookies so your cart and checkout work. Analytics and advertising cookies support Google Analytics and the Meta and TikTok pixels described above.
Your scan results are held in your browser's session storage while you view the results page. This data lives in your browser, not in the page URL, and is cleared when you close the tab or your browsing session ends.
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings, and you can opt out of the advertising pixels as described under Your rights. Blocking some cookies may limit parts of the site, such as cart and checkout.
How long we keep your data
We keep your face photo and analysis results for as long as needed to deliver your results, support you, and maintain your recommendation history, and no longer than the purposes in this policy require. They are not deleted automatically today, so your results remain available to you, but we review stored data periodically and delete what we no longer need. Once the purposes that justified keeping your data are fulfilled, we block it and then delete it, as Mexican law requires.
Face comparison data used for the repeat-scan check follows a fixed schedule: it is used only while the check runs and is deleted within 48 hours of the scan, without exception.
Order and transaction records are kept as long as required for accounting, tax, and legal obligations. Usage analytics are kept for shorter periods used for internal analysis.
You can shorten any of this. Email hello@2250.care and ask us to delete your photo, your results, or your account data, and we will act on it as described under Your rights.
Your rights
If you are in Mexico, you have ARCO rights under the Ley Federal de Protección de Datos Personales en Posesión de los Particulares (LFPDPPP): acceso (access the personal data we hold about you), rectificación (correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete), cancelación (request deletion), and oposición (object to specific uses). You may also revoke consent you have previously given, and limit the use or disclosure of your data. Nothing in this policy waives or limits these rights, and nothing in this policy asks you to waive any right that cannot be waived under applicable law, including your rights as a consumer before the Procuraduría Federal del Consumidor (PROFECO).
To exercise ARCO rights, revoke consent, or limit use or disclosure, email hello@2250.care with your name, a way for us to deliver our response, documents that prove your identity (or your representative's authority), and a clear description of the data and the right involved. Under Mexican law, we will respond within 20 business days and, if your request proceeds, act on it within 15 business days after that. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may file a complaint with the Mexican data protection authority, the Secretaría Anticorrupción y Buen Gobierno, which assumed the data protection functions formerly exercised by the Instituto Nacional de Transparencia, Acceso a la Información y Protección de Datos Personales (INAI).
If you are in the United States, depending on your state, you may have the right to know and access the personal data we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, and to opt out of targeted advertising and of the 'sale' or 'sharing' of personal data as your state's law defines those terms. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights. If we deny a request, you may appeal by replying to our decision, and we will explain the outcome.
Opt-out preference signals. Where your state's law requires it, we honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal sent by your browser as a valid request to opt out of targeted advertising and of the 'sale' or 'sharing' of personal data.
Verification protects you. Because requests can involve your face photo and skin data, we will confirm your identity before releasing or deleting anything.
Deleting certain data may limit what we can offer. For example, deleting your scan results means we can no longer show them to you or base support on them.
Security
We protect your data with technical, administrative, and physical measures appropriate to its sensitivity, including encryption in transit and access controls that limit who on our team and among our providers can reach it. Your face photo is treated as sensitive data and handled accordingly.
No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and despite our best efforts we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a breach affecting your personal data, we will notify you and the relevant authorities within the timeframes and in the manner applicable law requires.
Minors
Our service is intended for adults 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18, and the skin scan is not directed to or intended for use by minors.
If you believe someone under 18 has provided us with personal data, including a photo, contact us at hello@2250.care and we will delete it.
International data transfers
Singular Skincare Inc. is a United States company, and your data, including personal data collected in Mexico, is transferred to and processed in the United States. Some of our service providers may process data in other countries where they operate.
Wherever your data is processed, it remains protected by this policy and by contractual safeguards with our providers. Transfers to our service providers are necessary to provide the service you request. By providing your information after reading this policy, you consent to these transfers to the extent permitted by applicable law, and we ask separately for your express consent where the law requires it, as with your face photo.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our service, our providers, or the law changes. When we do, we will post the updated version on this page and revise the date at the top.
If a change materially affects how we handle your face photo, your skin data, or your rights, we will notify you by email or with a prominent notice on the site before it takes effect.
